This is a peaceful place which is worth visiting, there is a memorial to the people who died in Eastbourne and a pleasant garden area with seats.

Enjoyed going in this tower, lots of work going on both on the tower and surroundings. Lovely views from the top. There are stalactites on the ceiling which are dripping, I can vouch for that!

Interesting historical building with a pleasant garden all around. It's a bit of a round-about walk to get into the garden but is very peaceful once you're there and all gardens in Eastbourne are very well looked after.

This martello tower is an interesting landmark. It is well preserved but unfortunately was closed when we visited. The nearby gardens are well maintained and even in late September look lovely.

Really interesting place to spend an hour or so, go down into the basement and up to the gun tower. The views from the top are lovely and its well worth reading about the varied history of the tower. An easy walk from the town...More

This was closed when we were there but the surrounding garden was open and a gentle stroll around the remains of this Mortella structure passed a few minutes. There is a peace garden under construction and whne complete this will probably be a nice interlude...More

Not sure why this is called the wish Tower. It is a well preserved Martello tower. Toilets underneath nearby.
