Good bus service takes you to required spot -no need to take the car. Lovely views and although fairly busy pathways, still room for every one without feeling overcrowded-nice cafe for bite or cuppa before you catch the bus back. Well worth a trip on...More

Walked up to the lighthouse and enjoyed the views on a stormy windswept evening whilst a group of brave people had a barbecue down on the pebble beach. Very haunting and darkly beautiful. We came a second time on a sunny day when there were...More

Excellent place for a birthday walk, ignoring the chaplaincy car that drives up and down looking for jumpers. Only thing I would say, is if you walk into Eastbourne and back, be prepared for steep return.

Birling gap offers wonderful views of the seven sisters cliffs from the top and from the bottom of the staircase. The National Trust shop and café are clean, attractive and well stocked with excellent service.
