It is easier to park at this end of the long promenade as it's away from the main town centre. It has a nice, well maintained tarmacked walking path which is ideal for wheelchair users too. Many people walk their dogs along this part too...More

nice clean pebble beach which was nice to see people using a lot for social gathering, eating, relaxing and being pebble meant no mess. Some nice beach bars along the stretch as well.

Beautifully maintained beach with lovely walks, ideal for all abilities. Flower beds and gorgeous views. Very popular in summer but plenty of space for all.

This beach is between the pier & redoubt. There is no life guard, so if you want extra security, move to the other side of the pier that is monitored. The groynes are further apart here than the main beach, making it feel more vast...More
