We visited the Anthong National Marine Park in October 2014. All I can say is what an amazing group of islands this is. White sandy beaches, canoeing, snorkeling, swimming, a ride in a long boat, exploring the lagoon, fossils and so much more. The boat ride to the marine park was great. We had breakfast and lunch on the boat.... More

Ask for Ron, he will bring you there with his nice boat (not speed-boat, more like a yacht) at a very fair price

Highly recommended! Beautiful nature reserve! The tour cost us 1200 baht per person and an extra 200 baht for the reserve visit. We took the slow boat (there is a more expensive option - speed boat). on the way there, were served sandwiches and coffee, the trip included a climb to spectacular vantage point (note that climbing is not easy... This was a very good day out, beautiful scenery and well worth the money. We snorkelled, kayaking and saw the lagoon, all very good and fun, although, the climb to the view point on the lagoon could be a struggle for some. If you're here, then I'd 100% recommend doing this trip.

Everything we saw this day was really spectacular it was just spoilt by the boat loads of tourist that went there. We were one of 6 speed boats of about 30 people doing the same trip with similar timings! Could have been amazing! We all left about 3pm so might be worth going late afternoon.

We went on a brilliant speed boat tour with Grand Sea tours & visited the National Marine Park, went snorkelling, kayaking & saw the Emerald Lagoon. It was a brilliant opportunity to see beautiful, unspoilt beaches & islands - exactly like the movie. One tip - layer on the suncream!
