Beautiful lake filled with hundreds of turtles! 30-60 minute walk around the lake depending on pace and it’s beautiful, so many lizards!

Its a nice park in North lakes. Its been built in and around by shops and apartments.
It has a nice path around it and is lovely for a walk.
It has ducks and geese, eels, turtles, birds, lizards and yes snakes. Need to be careful of these. Just be aware they are there and you will be fine.

I love walking the dog around Lake Eden at North Lakes. It's peaceful as well as scenic as you breath in the fresh air and watch the swans and other water birds. It's a 10/10 way to start your day. You can always stop off for a coffee at the Best Western situated right there.

This area has been thoughtfully created and maintained. The variety of bird life and natural beauty is a delight to behold. There are even turtles in the water. Seats are placed strategically around the lake to allow for quiet contemplation and appreciation of the peaceful environment. There are also playgrounds at various points for families to enjoy with their little ones. This lake is such a respite in the midst of an urban environment and is a credit to the planners, scientists and council that maintain it.

There is a walking path about 2km long around the lake. There are plenty of playgrounds and grassed areas - perfect for a picnic or a birthday party. The path is fairly flat and is wide and in great condition. It is great for young kids and older family members as well. There are local take-away restaurants and the new Boardwalk cafe nearby.

Not far, just a 3 minute walk from Westfield finds you walking tranquil boardwalks over a water bird rookery and a fresh lake breeze in your face. This is Lake Eden.
