WELCOME TO NORTH LAKES RESORT GOLF CLUB. Arguably one of Queensland’s best championship golf courses, it is without doubt one of the most beautiful places to play golf in Brisbane. The challenging 18-hole course, a real credit to its creator – touring professional Graham Marsh – opened in 2002 and has received widespread acclaim over the past decade. The perennially popular golf course features a Marsh masterstroke…Australia’s first TifEagle greens, which ensure the most consistent putting surface. Located just 35 minutes due north of the CBD, the course is open to everyone seven days a week. The stunning course and its contemporary Clubhouse will impress and delight you regardless of whether you’re a member, corporate guest or a casual visitor. Play soon and find out why the best Brisbane golf course keeps getting better and better. North Lakes Resort Golf Club is open to the public 7 days a week! We adhere to seasonal hours of operation of our golf program due to changes in playable daylight hours.

North Lakes Golf Course no longer exists. It ceased trading being sold off. Once was a great course many a players favourite and was vigorously fought for but ultimately failed.

Took a friend from the US here for a sit down lunch. We had the NL burger (comes with fries and choice of sauces). Food was well presented, tasted great and a good sized serving. Staff were friendly, the ambiance was very nice, sitting inside in the air conditioning and looking out over the 9th green.

This golf course was built around the community of North Lakes right from the beginning, it wasn't an after thought however the guy running it is an accountant and has no interest in the golf course except for "trying" to sell it to a developer for a retirement village. There aee already several retirement villages in the area (with vacancies) and the last census there is only 6% of this communities population over the age of 60. We the residents of North Lakes have been pushing the state government for another high school because of our YOUNG population, families with school aged children!!

Although not a regular golfer , I often invite friends over for breakfast or lunch and sit out on the deck overlooking the stunning green course . During the week I’ll go there for a quiet drink and read for an hour or so .
Sunset socials on Friday evenings are a pleasant evening spent in the balmy cool of qld , listening to live music and food vans , great event to catch up with work mates or friends to end the week.
Would be disappointing to see it demolished for high density housing .
Spot the roo or koala as you relax With a beer , that would be tragedy of nature to destroy this.

This course is quite challenging but at the same time can be a great experience for the weekend hacker. There is abundant wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, reptiles and birds. Awesome place to bring foreign friends as you are guaranteed to see this Australian wildlife. It's just a shame that some greedy developer is looking to buy the course to build into a retirement village. Save North Lakes Golf Course! #snlgc

A little piece of paradise in the centre of the North Lakes, a suburb north of Brisbane. I don’t play golf however I’ve heard it is a wonderful golf course. Beautifully maintained and the best in the area although membership is expensive. The restaurant serves lovely presented food which is delicious however they operate on restricted hours due to the owner not being interested in what the public want or not interested in making money. Not even put the PGA on the TV to promote people to come. The owner is currently trying to sell the golf course to VRG, a company that wants to a build retirement village hence destroying the area of the green space, wildlife who live there and atmosphere of the area, not to mention the impact on the residents who purchased properties at a premium to have a beautiful outlook. Difficult to find as no signs to indicate where it is. So much potential not being taken advantage of. Shame.

Played here a few times, I am a hack and just hit a ball for fun but thoroughly enjoyed my rounds here and always enjoy a meal and beer afterwards. Never crowded, stunning environment and would have to be one of the best courses in south east Queensland.

Carts are included in fees and is an ideal for all skill levels and a great venue for Corporate Golf days.

It's a shame that it only takes one or 2 people to ruin a golf experience on what is essentually a great course.
I don't believe I will ever return as that's 3 separate strikes from 3 separate visits.
If you want a challenge - by all means play the course - but don't expect all the staff to treat you as well as the pro and trainee's. Can't fault the trainee/pro's.
