I was given a Gold Class gift voucher for Christmas. The venue was nice, the seats were comfortable and the service was friendly. The thing that spoil the experience was the sound level. I saw a movie called Bad Boys Forever with Will Smith that was fast action. The sound level was so high that it hurt my ears. It totally ruined the experience and was totally unnecessary. I was so disappointed. Probably will not go to Gold Class again in the near future.

Very flash looking upon entry via the glass sliding doors, great cinema for watching a movie, reclining lounge chairs (not very romantic if on a couple date night).
I thought the meal was expensive 5 dishes for $79 (no spring rolls available), nothing flash about theses dishes. Finding the space for them on the small table with our drinks and water. Would be good to have a wet wipe after the finger food. I found the interruption for meal service distracting, probably forgo the meal on future visits.
Toilet - no toilet paper and empty liquid soap!!! Very GOLD CLASS - not!!

Clean and comfortable. Adequate lighting when seeking seat numbers. Good sound system. We were in Vmax where the screen size widens.
Easy access to toilets if you need to go during movie.

Gold class service is atrocious. Booked for a 4:45pm on a Friday. No pizza available. Changed to chicken teriyaki. No teriyaki available. Changed to chicken peanut satay. When the chicken arrived it was not brown peanut satay bur red chilli sauce!!! Send it back and was told that is what their peanut satay looks like. I would advise them to go back to culinary school. Do these people not prepare for a Friday night? And don’t even get me started on the prices!!!
I will never go there again.

Spent $82 plus a booking fee of $6.50 on their own website! For 2 adult tickets. Spent an extra $106 on sliders, nachos and 4 x drinks...asked for them too come out to us first up. 45 mins after the movies has started and everyone around us has been served I had to get up and leave to find out where they were. Finally got the food, let the supervisor know what had happened and her only response was she would ask the kitchen what happened and I never saw her again. Terrible service and terrible follow up on a complaint, definitely not worth the money!

The new Gold Class lounge is a little bigger than its Chermside cousin, with a huge bar/seating area, access to an incorporated veranda area and a slightly larger sized cinema (Cinema 2).

Please update your food menu. We often order a very small amount of food to eat during the movie and either eat at the adjacent restaurants before or after the movie. If the menu was updated, we would eat in-house.

I was not impressed when the wait staff collected our dishes 15 minutes before the end of Independence Day: Resurgence, right at a critical moment. I've haven't experienced that at any other Gold Class theatre.

Apart from that, this theatre offers a premium service for premium prices.

Beautiful new cinemas, clean and fresh. Helpful staff. Refreshment bar. Easy parking, free when you present your movie ticket to concierge.

What can I say, having best sound/picture at the movies is essential when you are paying over $20 to see a film. The size of the VMax cinemas is good and the Dolby Atmos here is great. Could probably use some more benches/seats for waiting but I guess with online bookings no one really waits long anymore anyway.

I bought a coffee but the machine must have been faulty only half filled the cup, the staff member took me around to Gold Class and made me a fresh one - can't complain with that service!

So this is the second time we have gone to the north lake cinema - the first time being a movie in the V max cinema.

Last night however we were in the ordinary cinema only to find that they use FOLD UP seats! What an absolute joke. Every time I moved, the seat squeaked and tried to fold itself up. It’s the same quality as the chairs on trains when you sit on the fold up seats. I can’t believe they can charge $19.50 for such an uncomfortable chair. Not to mention that all you hear the whole movie is other people squeaking and carrying on.

Never will we go back to those cinemas.
