Highly recommend seeing this by hiking up to Pulpit Rock instead of the boat ride. It took some effort (Norwegians are not rounding down when they label this as "intermediate", especially when it's a little icy) but was completely worth it.

This is another must see when in this part of Norway. The scenery is just magical, the rock structures exciting. May this year we had dry weather and not too cold.

Preikestolen walk! Or a ferry ride (any of them that take you along through to Lysebotn and Stavanger. Lysefjord is one, if not the best fjords to visit on a boat. We went while it was raining and it was fantastic. Powerful... More

Book online in advance with the company directly and skip the agencies. Cheaper and exactly the same! The ferry ticket however is bought on board the ferry with a credit card.
