A really good attraction for families. About 2 miles outside of Alesund centre, and so you will need to take a bus there, but well worth the trip. A modern attraction with plenty to do for the kids - a great attraction.

The museum it's not very big, but good place for a 1-2 hours visit if the weather is nasty outside. The penguins are very cute, they are fed on a daily schedule, don't miss it.

The overall layout of the aquarium is great, easy to get around but the displays left me a little flat. Sure, there were some by fish on show but overall was very disappointing as it focused mainly on species sourced locally. There were a couple...More

Amazing place to spend time when its rainy. Lots of amazing fishes and other sea creatures. It's not allowed, but you can actually touch some of them too :) the performance of penguins is nice too.

Very interesting. Our 8-year old girl was in heaven. Very close, but still out of the town. Very nice surroundings with beach and "park" close to it.

Penguin, seals and huge cod! An awsome experience for the entire family. Might be a bit expensive at 370 NOK for two adults but its worth it.

Loved our afternoon at the aquarium. Watched the seals get fed and the penguins. Also saw the diver in the big tank feeding various very large fish. Pleasant afternoon.

The Atlantic Sea Park is great for kids, just make sure to plan according to the seals and (main tank) fish being fed. We went in a rainy day, our 12 years old (just) enjoyed it. For us it was OK.

Atlanterhavsparken is a wonderful aquarium focused on the sea life of the Norwegian coast and the Atlantic, with displays that are as natural as possible. There are large tanks with multiple species and smaller exhibits as well. The path through the building is well planned...More

Not quite, without a taxi. Take along a couple of friends and share the ride (taxis come expensive in Norway).
