This is definitely something you will not regret visiting simply because it is so rare. The “world” of gingerbread houses might feel magical and help the christmas spirit. Mainly meant for children, but could be enjoyed by adults as well.

It’s closed until winter. Don’t bother walking there unless it’s during that time :). Otherwise it’s an empty building

This community project, is not only visually stunning, but is a fantastic achievement that is worthy of praise it earns. It captures all that is best about Christmas and Community, and the smell of ginger bread makes you want to eat the displays !!

Typical norwegian, the biggest/greatest of the world. During the xmas time many institutions are making gingerbread houses and set them up there. Yes, it is beautiful to see, if you have children with you. Children can slide down a huge slide and have fun. For...More

Worth a wander around - baked by local schools and arranged in an old school gym. You can buy some gingerbread afterwards. Was 90kr to get in and we spent about 30 minutes looking around.
