Fjord trips are possible from Bergen, Stavanger and Alesund, further north. The Hardanger fjord, Eidfjord and Sognefjord trips are possibly the ones to do. Each offers a different waterway and mountains experience. This Fjord sight can be undertaken clockwise or anti clockwise by bus, train,...More

This is a 12 hour round-trip adventure that's gloriously beautiful. The bus to the boat runs through lovely countryside of various landscapes and you see the great non-tract, non industrial approach to distribution of housing and commerce that makes Norway a revelation--It isn't spare and...More

We went on one of the shorter trips, but it was well worth it. Scenery was beautiful. Much of it nothing like we had ever seen. This is a must-see.

What a great trip we went out of season. It was amazing, we went from sun to blizzard and back on our trip. We stayed on deck throughout! At one point we were the only people up there. Norway is a beautiful place.

Stunning scenery. Aqua-Teal coloured water against tall granite walls. Orchards everywhere- apples, plums and cherries are the fruits we tried. Lovely apple cider also! Plenty of goats and sheep grazing in lush green pastures. Many beautiful waterfalls.

I toured the fjord on boat. In my opinion, there is no better way to admire such beauty but on boat. When you drive, it is not the same. You have to pay attention to the road, although you can stop to delight yourself, for... More

Hi Angela! It would be better to book a fiord tour in advance! Check the possibilities in "Norway in a nutshell" and enjoy it!
