This is a beautiful trip. I love waterfalls and they were everywhere. Sometimes you would see more than 10 at one time.

Cruised up and down this flord, at 111 miles the second longest in Norway, to the town of Eidfjord, at the end of one arm. The Hardanger bridge replaces the old ferry, cutting hours off the drive between Bergen and Oslo. Completed in Aug. 2013,...More

Hardanger fjord is spectacular, but only in bright, sunny weather. I cruised the fjord on a day in July and it was sunny in the morning & cloudy in the afternoon; it looked fantastic in the morning & dull in the afternoon, so the sunlight...More

Beautiful scenery, cute towns and villages. Highly recommend taking a cruise on this fjord. There are public ferries available from various towns.

This fjord is really beautiful but not as beautiful as something like Geirangerfjord in my opinion. Nonetheless it is still gorgeous.

Took a 3 hour boat trip on the fjord. Most spectacular views. This is a must do. Boat was comfortable. Could also go out to the top to take photos, although is was cold.

I managed to squeeze in several ferry rides during my stay in Norway, and this was by far the most scenic. There was more to see in terms of homes, boat houses, the Hardanger suspension bridge, farming communities and more stops at towns and villages...More

Hi Angela! It would be better to book a fiord tour in advance! Check the possibilities in "Norway in a nutshell" and enjoy it!

I am sorry but I don't really think so. A proper tour will take up most of the daylight hours.
