An amazing park that is difficult to describe, so many big statues of amazing quality. Very busy with tourists, try and go during the week outside of holidays. The park is free but if you also want a great experience without all the people, go...More

Statues, statues and more statues! A nice park to stroll around and enjoy the various sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. It gets quite busy at times, so watch out for all the bikes zooming by left and right.

One of the most unique artistic experiences imaginable. Even if you are not into art, Vigeland´s opus is amazing. Each of the five areas offer a different experience and the walk in the park suddenly becomes something totally different and memorable.

The weather was very unkind with constant rain. This wonderful park made us forget the rain and just enjoy the magnificent sculptures and fountains. The little tea rooms made delicious hot chocolate and had lovely home made biscuits. Toilets need a coin.

I first came to this park about 30 years ago and it is still fantastic. Could easily spend several hours here. On a sunny day would be great for a picnic lunch

Built by a single artist in need of work, the park is filled with sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. He did >200 pieces in the huge park, which is the biggest (about 110 acres) in Oslo. They mostly portray naked people (including children) with various emotions....More

Hi The public transportation in Oslo is indeed very efficient - check the webpage for ruter.no. You can also upload to your mobile the Ruter app which finds you the routes based on your location once you are in Oslo
