Worth to view

We only viewed the place from the outside but worth a look. Once up the top you have a great view of the main street.

The palace was closed the day we wanted to,go but we decided to walk in the grounds anyway. We saw the most amazing changing of the guards. This is a must see for Oslo.

It's the bad time of the year that we cannot go inside the palace to visit. So it's just a huge building at the top of a hill to us...

Pleasant enough neo-classical building with views down to the National Theatre and Parliament Building. The changing of the guard is interesting and at least half of the guards are female.

We came here later to watch guard change ceremony which, in my opinion, wasn't something very impresive but still interesting to watch if you are seeing this for the first time. Guard changes at 1:30 P.M, so be there. Just... More

A gentle stroll up a small incline giving a nice view over the city. Ceremonial guards parade. A rather plain building.
