I am not sure, why this place is liked by anyone - it is just dirty trashy place. Walls are painted by ugly graffiti, in general, it is not Norway, but some completely other terrible junk.

Hip shopping district in Northeastern part of Oslo. We took our teenagers and they loved the vintage chic stores. The neighborhood was quaint and then we had a fabulous meal at the MATHALLEN food hall.

The bnb we stayed in was close to Grunerlokka so we were able to walk through several times. We enjoyed dinner there one evening. Looks like an old neighborhood that is now becoming trendy.
