Awesome place to try a range of food! We ate at a fish restaurant and I had fish soup and it was amazing and reasonable in price for fish! Salmon, cod and mussels in a soup! Fresh as... Good wines too. Highly recommended!

The whole Vulcan area feels really hip and trendy, and so are the Mathallen. We had the Asian noodles which were very tasty, it were big portions so the price was ok considering the environment you are in.

I find it hilarious that people don't give this five stars. What else could you possibly want. So many different restaurants to choose from and as far as Oslo prices go, they are reasonable enough. You can choose food to suit your budget or if...More

A delightful market hall with food stalls and bars/restaurants offering a variety of food styles. Tapas was very good but slightly expensive. Fish and chips were excellent. Adjoining further restaurants outside. Slightly outside the city centre but easily accessible by numerous trams.

Several cafes, restaurants and food shops in one place. Most seemed a bit pricy though. It was a bit smaller than expected. Finding a toilet was rather difficult, as some areas were closed off.

This is a food court / food market with specialties and also some real good restaurants and bars. My only complaint is that they close too soon (bars are open longer of course).

We really enjoyed our lunch at this food hall. They have a large variety of food options, a lovely cheese and charcuterie vendor, craft cocktails and craft beer. This was far superior to the VIPPA food "truck" area near the waterfront. Prices were better in...More

Thank you for the information. We have decided it's too tight on time to make this tour. Maybe next time we visit Oslo?
