Part of the package trip to Norway was a 7 hour transfer on the railway. Central station in Oslo is clean and efficient. The toilet will cost 20 kr! The train arrived on time and left promptly. We tried for an upgrade from standard to comfort class but couldn't as the train was fully booked. The train was comfortable and... More

The train station is clean with some shops and restaurants cafes. Be careful if you buy your ticket from a machine as there are 2 types one is for the exact time of travel the other is less specific but as the trans are expensive and the tickets not refundable this could be an expensive mistake.

A truly unforgettable journey. My wife and I travelled Komfort class which gives you access to free beverages throughout the journey. The photo opportunities are so plentiful you don't need anything to occupy the time on what may seem a long journey.

Excellent experience, travelled in comfort in first carriage which provides free coffee etc. Very comfortable and interesting. Views of mountains and forests in winter snow.

The train ride has beautiful views throughout the journey and you will get tired of the gorgeous views by the end of it. Pro tip: sit on the left side of the direction of travel from Oslo to Bergen and right on the way back. Try to schedule such that entire ride is in daylight.

This trip takes a leisurely run of around 7 hours to cross the mountains from Oslo to Bergen. The train is comfortable and spacious, even when fully booked, as it was when we took it. It has a buffet car with reasonable food, albeit at the usual high Norwegian prices. As you get up into the mountains, where passengers are... More

I took the train from Bergen to Oslo and buy the ticket in advance in KOMFORT class reserve seat. The train left Bergen almost noon and arrived Oslo 7 pm. It meant 7 hours on the train. But for this route at day time you will feel time run quickly because after leaving Bergen for an hour the scenery was... More

The scenery was amazing, and the seats were quite comfortable. The first few hours, the view was less exciting, but as we entered the left the outskirts of Oslo, the mountains and the tributaries became quite spectacular. We sat in the regular class car, but the six hours were still quite comfortable. *I would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff... More

The journey itself is an attraction not to be missed. Even if you're not planning to spend much time in Bergen or Oslo, you should still take this trip. The views are simply amazing, just check the pictures. We didn't understand how six hours went by and wished that we could still continue. One important tip: Reserve a seat on... More
