Oslo, recent winner of the EU's European Green Capital Award, is best discovered when active and outdoors. Explore all the places a bus cannot: take a bike tour and cycle through the Royal Palace Gardens or next to rushing waterfalls in the downtown; rent a bike and make your way to the various beaches along the coast; hike among the hills and lakes in Europe's largest urban forest; or island hop on one of our nature walks. Let Viking Biking and Viking Hiking show you all Oslo has to offer.

We had a great day in our bike tour- what a wonderful way to see the City and get some great trips for later on your own

We enjoyed the day in Oslo and were able to do the river and waterfalls and city tour in less than 2 1/2 hours. I would have liked to learn more but I think our college age tour guide kept things short and sweet.

Enjoyable 3 hours cycling through Oslo learning history and seeing the sights. Enjoyed seeing some of the neighborhoods and getting away from the touristy spots. Eleanor was informative and helpful. Good way to spend an afternoon in Oslo.

Biking tour was great. Probably the best way to get a good sense of Oslo. You see a lot. Easy bike however, if you haven't ridden in a while, don't do it. You'll slow everyone down.

My family and I (6 of us from Minnesota) had a wonderful experience with our hiking tour. It was 4 hours up in the hills. The guides (Curtis and Josh) are very knowledgeable and entertaining. I would recommend this tour for anyone reasonably fit.

We are normally open in November, as it is cold but still okay for biking. Of course, sometimes snow can come early in which case we are closed. What I recommend is you contact us directly via our website later this autumn... More

I don't think so. But, we had some rainy weather, and it really wasn't a problem. The city is very bike friendly and rain is the norm.
