A nice city to visit. Went to the City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prizes are presented. Also went to the Peace Centre where there are exhibits of past prize winners and why they were awarded.

The Oslo fjord doesn't have the rugged snow capped peaks and waterfalls like the fjords near Flam or Stavanger, but it is still a beautiful scene. There are many small islands with summer homes. Worth a look if you are going to be in Oslo,...More

I went on a standard two hour Oslo fjord tour cruise. Even though it was good to get out on the water and see the city from another perspective, I was underwhelmed. Much of what there is to see around the fjord are small low...More

This is a beautiful stretch of water. We got up early to enjoy the cruise into Oslo. The scenery from both sides of our ship was magnificent. If the opportunity presents itself, don't miss it!

I did the 2 hour boat cruise through the fjords on the sailboat and it was a delight. The captain was lovely and the explanations given along the way were interesting and insightful. The view was beautiful even when it started raining on us, and...More
