Beautiful as allways

The Oslo Fjord is one of the main attractions of Oslo, especially when the weather is nice. The Fjords on the west coast are, however, much more spectacular.

We took a three hour boat cruise on the Oslo Fjord that included a shrimp buffet. It was so relaxing and beautiful and memorable.

Get a quick tast of the Norwegian fjords and islands. If you are in Oslo - take the fery for a roundt trip. You pay bus fare and get an hour on the water. See the city from the fjord, and you get close to the beautiful islands. You can also hop on and off within the hour - so... More

Don`t get me wrong, the Oslo Fjord is a nice place, but it isn`t as beautiful as the magnificent ones in the west or the north of the country. In a nice summer day when the sun is shining it is indeed a good idea to have a cruise on the fjord, but don`t expect great views.

Went on ferry to museums - confusing because online it says that cost of ferries included in 24 hr ticket for public transport but when you go to ferry they tell you not included. Buy ticket from office on pier. They charge you double on boat. Nice views of the Fjords from ferry. Not as dramatic as up north but... More

Beautiful Fjord! Hopping on a boat and exploring is a must. Stunning scenery. It can get a. bit chilly in the wind so take coats and gloves.

Try to experience this trip with a sightseeing of the Fiords, it worths a lot for the history and also the views you can get from the boat. There are some companies that offers this plan for less than 40 euros and different schedules, if it's not raining you will like it more!

Everybody knows the more impressive fjords are elsewhere, but if your trip to Norway only includes Oslo you'd be remiss not to get on the water. You have to experience Norway's fjords, even if it's just from the city.

Take a cruise or kayak trip into Fjord, you get great views of the city and the are many small fjords off the main one.
