We purchased public transport tickets which gave access to busses, trains and ferries. Did ferry trips to the different islands. Lovely scenic trip.

We went on the 4.30 boat trip around the fjord, it was a lovely sunny afternoon. We had commentary in Engliish with a slight humorist touch to it. Refreshments available on board

An amazing two hours floating on calm cobalt blue waters, gliding past little emerald islands lush with vegetation underneath a clear sky full of warm sunshine. The air was clean and visibility perfect. Occasionally fluffy clouds floated so low and were so white against the...More

It's ok. It's not like the Gareingerfjord, it's just a body of salt water. Not terribly interesting or pretty.

There are plenty of places to explore around the fjord, it's very enjoyable when the weather is good. In summer, water is not that cold so it's possible to swim. Some of the nice areas little bit outside the city are Bigdoy and Fornebu.

Oslo Fjord is not what I expected. I expected a long and winding inlet with steep slopes formed by glaciers.
