We really enjoyed our visit on a rainy afternoon - we learned a lot about arctic wildlife and yet it wasn't hard work at all - a fun experience!

Average place. The seal show was good but Worth a visit only if you have a young children and if you have not seen seals before. There are many other activities to do in tromso than this.

Here you are shown in a very straightforward way how global warming is affecting the Arctic. Fantastic film showing Svalbard from the air. Seals and various fish in tanks are great to watch.

A great thing to do on a rainy day (and we had plenty). Small place, but well set-up. The cafeteria food is above average, especially the salmon sandwiches. Staff speaks well English, and answered my daughter's questions for a good 30 minutes, now she knows...More

Went with my wife and son and had a good day. Some of the animals are great. There is a canteen to get a coffee. Price wise I found it expensive for what you actually get.

Been here two times the past three years. Fun for the kids and the seals are nice. Not very large and few attractions. Mostly for the kids.

This place gets all the tourists from the cruise ships and Hurtigruten inside the doors during the guided city tours, and don't respect there visitors enough to change the projector lamps! If it's not bad enough that the movies are so old and of a...More

Main attraction in Tromso? Definitively not. The Polar museum has much more to offer. I expected a lot of this aquarium/ discovery center, but I was somewhat disappointed. When you enter, they show you a movie about an arctic topic on 5 big screens. One...More
