We started out as a home for dogs in 1988, since then our passion for dogs and life in the nature has taken us on an exilerating journey. Today we're one of Tromso's leading tourist destinations with over 300 dogs. Our main tours are with the dogsleds but we also have Northern Lights tours and snowshoe rentals. In the summer we have Kayak trips, a wide range of tours and hikes with our huskies and puppies as well as glacier hikes. We'll provide warm clothes on all our tours to keep you warm while enjoying the Arctic Nature.

Thank you for your review, As you found Norway is a little mountainous, which gives it some striking scenery but isn't always the easiest to tranverse. For those that aren't so mobile visiting our huskies is the best option but hiking out with them as...More

I'll pass your thanks onto Laura, The sea kayaking doesn't normal incorportate a dog yard visit due to the timescale but we're glad you got to come along. It's a truelly magical place being here in Tromsø.

A day-time snow shoe trek was great! Good fun including getting the snow shoes on and trying to stay upright in the deep snow. Highly recommended! Even better was the night-time dog sledding ride through the snow with the huskies just raring to go was...More

Where do I begin! Such an amazing place run by absolutely fantastic, kind people and filled with loving dogs. Although when we first walked in we were intimidated by the sound and sight of over 300 dogs barking like crazy, we quickly realized these were...More

We (my wife, kids (10 and 12y) en me) had a great time. The hike with the dogs was fun, being pulled by a dog makes the walk easier :-) Afterwards we had a good meal and visited the kennel and the puppies. Thanks to...More

Our Viking excursion to the Tromso Wilderness Centre was wonderful. Where else can you pet 350 dogs if you wish and then be leashed to a husky who literally takes off up a moss covered hill. You have to be prepared to keep up and...More
