Try to find the tourist office in town. NO sign at all in the street where it were supposed to be situated. Found a sign in A4 size on a door with an arrow saying it were found on 2nd floor in the building. No...More

Most inhabitants are outdoor persons with comparatively good health enjoying outdoor life.You should also plan time to visit the mountains around Harstad, the sea, the sailing ships. The tourist office, close to the harbour, gives you a very good service! The staff really knew what they were talking about and they treated everyone with warmth!

Everything in Harstad is closed at 16.30 pm ! Don't expect to shop or find tourist information after this time!
