While we attended the concert on December 31st and were afraid of being cold, since blankets were provided, we were just fine. Concert was really nice, the large Baroque church added to the atmosphere and took almost 1.5 hours. I recommend spending the extra money...More

We were so excited to see a concert and we found this one, Vivaldi 4 seasons at Karlskirche. It was a must!

Okay musicians, but too expensive for something that's a bit too showboaty and touristy. Acoustics of the church not quite conducive to the size of the chamber ensemble, the continuo gets a bit lost in the reverb. I think the long hall isn't quite perfect...More

A beautiful church, decent musicians, but it was 0 Centigrade outside, and not much warmer inside. They gave us blankets (and we were wearing thermal underwear) but it was really too cold to enjoy the concert.More

Dear Howard, Thanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear you were freezing. Especially during winter we receive a lot of booking requests for our concerts - that´s why we´ve decided to give our audience the chance to witness one of our concerts at any time...More

This is an evening not to be missed. The venue was cold so make sure you wrap up well. Thoughtful, courteous staff give everyone a fleece blanket before being shown to your seats. The concert began on time with six violinists, one cellist, a bass...More

The place is really majestic - the most baroque church thinkable - and therefore ideal for this type of concert. Ensemble 1756 are a wonderful orchestra who very appropriately use original historic instruments. The effect is captivating and the event worth attending.

A great rendition of the Four Seasons interspersed with a countertenor singing. Well worth spending an evening here. The inside of the church is impressive to look around while waiting for the music. My only warning is to make sure you have adequate warm clothing....More

The performance by Orchester 1756 and the guest solo singer was of very high quality and entertaining, enhanced by the ambience of the church setting. Even the reserved seating was reasonably priced and meant that I could enjoy a cup of coffee before the performance...More

Fantastic venue, fantastic concert. We bought category 1 seats which are worth the extra. Sat in fifth row, seats numbered so allows you to enter at your leisure rather than queue for a seat as in other categories. Beautiful church. I'd read reviews about it...More

The music was played very well in a gorgeous setting with incredible acoustics at a really good price( compared to some of the chintzy period costume performances or at some of the tourist attractions). Unless you really need to see the exact bowing and fingering...More

1. You can get standing room tickets at the box office. 2. As the area for standing room tickets is in the back you would not disturb if you come late.
