this museum caught me by surprise, next to picasso and monet it had works from Roy Lichtenstein too, so no matter what art you are interested in, this is the place to be

We saw the Galerie Albertina only from outside. Very special building containing a lot of masterpieces of art. Next time, we will visit.

A wonderful museum where one can enjoy both temporary and permanent art exhibitions. It´s a joy to the senses. It takes about 3 hours to completely enjoy the art in this place. It is definitely a must!

Just toured this Jewell of a museum. First floor is dedicated to Edvard Munch and includes The Scream and The kiss. Audio guide us excellent and describes his struggle with mental illness and alcoholism. Second floor exhibits various painters from Monet to Picasso to Chagall....More
