What a huge building this is. The spires tower upwards. Easy to walk around and view. Unfortunately we ran out of time to enter.

We came for the music and film festival. Unfortunately the concerts weren't our cup of tea but we enjoyed walking around and soaking up the atmosphere

It was interesting to see how they use this monumental building. During the summer when we got there, a film festival was held with a huge screen right in front of the main entrance. The views are extraordinary and the events taking place in front...More

Depending on when you visit, there are numerous events held in front of this iconic Vienna building. Recommend in the Christmas season for the Kristkndl markt, with plenty of booths featuring everything from great crafts and of course, the gluehwein, a slightly spicy (cloves) red...More

I love gothic architecture so may be biased but I loved visiting this building and they have free guided tours. Also, there was a vibrant film festival with food stands taking place outside which was good fun.

Most of the year the Rathausplatz is the centre of diverse events. Steirerdorf, Filmfest etc - there is always something to see there. Rest of the year it is one of the most beautiful houses of the world and next to Parliament, Votivkirche, Burgtheater etc

Although we couldn't enter the building due to renovations, we could still appreciate how spectacular it was. It's located in central Vienna and is on the tram route so is easy to get to. A must see when in Vienna!

We did not go into the Rathaus, but we walked all around it. They had a concert set up outside of it and some wonderful street food vendors were there. The grounds are very nice.
