We arrived at the Schnapps Museum and first got a tour of the old factory and shop with a lovely guide named Pauline - nearly all of the pieces in there are original -an antique cash register, scales, a marble counter top, a vintage type...More

We were lucky to have discovered this place, only a small mention in the Vienna City Card brochure. So, I thought I would help out other travelers by listing this jewel. We received a personal guided tour of the original Friedrich Fischer, Schnaps distillery, with...More

Very small museum but the guide was very informative and it was a cool thing to see. The best bit was obviously the taste test at the end, everything I tried was delicious, this was a great experience!

Not a large museum, but the owner is a wealth of information. Schnaps has been in his blood for 4 generations and her makes the history of it fun. The tasting afterwards is great

Pretty interesting little museum, you can learn a lot about the history of Schnaps and how they make it. Doesn't take too long, and they have a bunch of different kinds for sale!

The Schnapsmusuem was an included part of our TravelMarvel tour and was quite enjoyable. The tour was hosted by one of the descendants of the Schnapps Company founders and he was amazing - spoke fast but you could take it all in. The tour covered...More
