The Ring Tram is in a way unnecessary, not sure why it even exists. Firstly, one can easily walk along the ring, it is a nice distance to stroll along and many sights are along the way. Secondly, there are other trams like #1 that...More

Very expensive for what you get 18e per adult. Plenty of tower cranes and building works. Not much information. The best bit is at the end regarding the ruined church which you can see before you get on the tram in the first place

Having walked around most of the sights it was nice to sit in a tram and be taken around at a leisurely pace. It took about 45mins and you are given a set of earphones which you plug in and select the language. You then...More

I did this on my last day to see a few outlying buildings I hadn’t walked too - it’s over before you know it. Save the 9 euro for ice cream and rather take a walk to see the buildings along the Ringstrasse

You can see in a little time some of the attractions of the town. it takes only 25 minutes so you don't spend your whole day to see the most important attractions. It costs 8 euros per adult.

This is an easy overview of the Ringstrass area -- some of the recorded commentary overlapped with what we heard of some of the on and off bus tours but it was nice to hear it all at once while riding the historic tram. Please...More

It costs 9 euro and it gives a good commentary on what you see. It's a good way of getting orientated when you arrive. And you get a ride on a heritage tram! Lovely!

Old University Quarter
North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly
turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to
legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at
Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque
façades, courtyards and churches. Take 45 minutes for
a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and
Schönlaterngasse. This quarter is packed with stories
