The church is just stunning, the roads that lead you there are charming, nice to see a different part of the city. The building is lovely from the outside and even more dramatic inside. Mostly pink and green marble making up the interior which looks amazing, never seen anything like it. Some of the columns are twisted marble such an... More

This church is situated on a side street near the large St Stevan cathedral, so maybe that's why no one was there when we visited it, but its interior is as spectacular as any I've see in Europe (and I've see a lot). It is a stellar example of a baroque church and has been expertly maintained.

This is a beautiful, small, baroque church in Vienna. It is a bit hidden but in a central location. The fake marble is very well done.

This was an accidental find - on our visit to Vienna we just tended to go into any church we stumbled upon, and were often pleasantly surprised by the interior, but this one really knocks it out of the park. We went in on a stroll after dining at Fuglmuller's. The outside was nice, which hinted it might be even... More

The first church I walked into when I visited the city. It is abundantly clear that the people were expressing their love of their God by making an incredibly beautiful church in His honor.

Located in a small square, a short walk from Stephansplatz stands the unassuming exterior of the Jesuit Church. With a typical baroque façade, this church needs to be seen to be believed. Most people surely gasp when entering for the first time, the rich and elaborate decoration is beautifully preserved. While primarily a place of prayer and liturgical celebration, the... More

Jesuitenkirche, of Jesuit Church in Vienna is a beautiful baroque church often overlooked by visitors. The church was consecrated in 1627 and renovated and redecorated in the beginning of the 18th century. The church is dedicated to Saints Ignatius of Loyola and Francis Xavier. The exterior of the church is a relatively simple two towered structure but one inside it... More

This free to enter church appears to be more highly decorated than the cathedral which you have to pay for. If you want to visit a church then come here

An incredible charge church church. Oh very good example of the baraka. In a very interesting area in Viena. If you visit the church then you can also walk through the small streets that surrounded it. As a plus they also organize concerts free of charge.

The exterior of the church was plain however the interior was grand. Definitely a must see. As this is a church, it's free to enter. During the evenings, there is also someone playing the organ and I through it added to the atmosphere.
