Nice park to wander about

Next to the Albertina, you can stroll by here and look at the statues of Mozart and Goethe. Not too touristy.

The Burggarten, a palace garden of the Hofburg in Vienna, Austria. Attractions include a statue of Mozart and a Palm House. You wil find a most charming café in the Plam House - don't miss it. And from the Burggarten there is just a short cut via a staircase to the unforgettable museum ALBERTINA. One can spend hours there. The... More

Burggarten, just behind the Albertina is a small park in within the Hofburg district. It anchors the Albertina to the north, the Neue Burg to the west and Staatsoperamuseum to the east along the Ringstrasse.

On a summer day i guess its more beautiful then in a cold christmas day.. Behind the park is the butterfly museum and around this statues and park its short walk to... More

An amazing garden ideal for long walks, especially on a sunny day. Dedicated to Motsar, the note of flowers makes it special and as the lake.

The garden was originally for the Family as it was attached to the Hof complex. It's great to rest a bit in the warm sun and take a look at the Mozart monument.

A wonderful garden to walk around, enjoy the greenery and the monuments. it is located near the "ring" surrounding Vienna's inner city, between Hofburg and the Opera House, so if you want to relax a bit while touring these major landmarks - Burggarten provides a good opportunity to do so.

The garden with a statue of Mozart is a very nice place to just relax on a weekend. Burggarten is situated behind the Oper ring strasse near Hofburg palace. While sightseeing was sat down and took a break here.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
