My sister and I found the place very suitable for hanging out in the evenings for a drink or a snack, we loved the atmosphere there. There is always something going on in the Quartier. If you don't know where to go chill in Vienna...More

Museumsquartier is basically a very, very good idea. A couple of fine museums, but without the thick layer of dust that many old museums tend to have.

MuseumsQuartier has many interesting museums: best of them the Leopold Museum. Do go and sea Egon Schiles, even if you are not a true art lover. You can also eat and drink outside, the bars are not expensive.

This is a fantastic area of inspiring museums and open space. The exhibits at Leopold are a class of their own and their accompanying texts are beautifully written making you hang on them. The MUMOK is avant guarde; even if you won't like everything in...More

This area now houses several excellent galleries, museums and exhibitions. I enjoyed the Leoplold galley the most. Lots of life on the weekends.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Yes! Free and beautiful. A fun place for a picnic. It would make sense to google if there is a Vienna card or some card that lowers the price of admissions. Some cities have that. I'm jealous you're going there. My absolute... More
