Looks much bigger pictures than it is. Perfect place for a stroll or to spend a few hours at a typical vienna cafe.

Almost hidden in the centre of Vienna is the Museums Quartier with several excellent museums and good eating places. Don't miss the large exhibition of Egon Schiele paintings in the Leopold Museum.

Enjoyed some of the museums here, but needed more time, went for a coffee just to the right of the Leopold Museum and it was the best coffee in Vienna!

The museum quarter of Vienna is a great place to visit and spend time. My one recommendation is bring your own food; food in the museum quarter is very expensive, even for Vienna.

There is a square where you can sit and people watch. There are some museums around and only some are worth paying to go in.

A great people watching space surrounded by a number of great museums. A happening place but one where you could relax as well.

Great to be able to share the area with many young art students and tourists with plenty of seating (laying) places around.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Yes! Free and beautiful. A fun place for a picnic. It would make sense to google if there is a Vienna card or some card that lowers the price of admissions. Some cities have that. I'm jealous you're going there. My absolute... More
