If Museums are your thing then this is defo worth a visit. We loved this area and managed to visit a few of the museums here. Recommend the natural history museum.

Suggest take a few hours to walk around this area, definitely worth it when in Vienna, very nice buildings.

MuseumsQuartier shuts out the city from the city. When you enter the courtyards of MuseumsQuartier and hang out on one of the Enzis (specially designed hallmark benches) you're on holiday and everyday stress falls off immediately!

The Museums Quartier is a wonderful complex of museums right in the heart of inner city Vienna (7th district) and contains a great mix of baroque buildings and modern architecture. The area enclosed within the Museums Quartier is the former stables of the court. It...More

Around a central relaxed square sit several very appealing museums/art galleries. The space is great and having all the museums in close proximity is advantageous

The museum Quarter is centrally located & easily accessable. The central Statue of Queen Maria Theresa on the throne is very impressive.Good place to spend an evening in case one is tired of walking around.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Yes! Free and beautiful. A fun place for a picnic. It would make sense to google if there is a Vienna card or some card that lowers the price of admissions. Some cities have that. I'm jealous you're going there. My absolute... More
