Freshly renovated Jugendstil church designed by the famous architect Otto Wagner, excellent view over the city, large park surrounding the church. Insider tip for an excursion with kids.

On the edge of the Wiener Wald you stunble upon this gem. The church is part of a psychiatric hospital with its own theater and other therapeutic stations way before their time.

This Jugendstil church is extremely beautiful - it is one of the prettiest churches we have ever seen and can be compared with the Cathedral in Chartres or - more modern - the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels in LA The guided tour...More

Absolutely worth a visit. Impressive architecture by Otto Wagner, just refurbished a short time ago. Very different from what you would expect a church to look like!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
A few years ago, I attended a meditiation session with chanting in the church, on a weekday. The current website of the church does not list any such event. Are the meditations no longer being held there?

There weren't any indications of this kind of service when we were there last October.
