I loved this! really unusual museum, but very informative. Superb displays and helpful interactive content. I spent ages peering and dreaming and trying to find various countries. I think kids would only be entertained for 20 mins max though. This has to be the BEST...More

Was amazing to see some globes where neither Australia nor America exists! I have a complete new understanding about globes now and when come back home shall get one. Maybe a little dark everywhere inside the museum, but I suppose that has to be to...More

The historical part is quite interesting. I think that the scientific and technical information is too sketchy. The interactive displays do not work well. I appreciated that all information is given both in German and English, which is not always the case in Austrian Museums.

The museum presents you in about 60 minutes an interesting exposition of historical globes, both terrestrial and celestial. It takes you back at the origins of the globes until nowadays. It is not a real must see, but certainly worthwhile if you are fascinated or...More

This is a really interesting exhibition illustrating how the understanding of our World has developed through history. Some stuff about the solar system too. Very interesting indeed and not too museum like - more an exhibition and some interactive stuff too.

Not sure why but I have always been fascinated with globes and I was happy to find this during my trip research. I actually placed this on the "if we have time" list but we found that we were totally charmed by this museum. Interesting...More

The title says it all really. We spent an hour here, very quiet. A wonderful break from the bustle of central Vienna with time to become even more fascinated as you work your way through the information and exhibits. They have it all here. The...More

This museum near the centre of Vienna is absolutely fascinating. Although the museum is made up of only four rooms, I spent over an hour here looking at all the different types of globes from throughout history, it is very educational. Whilst I was there,...More
