You should definitely visit this place if you are in Vienna. A aquarium based on 11 levels with a beautiful view of the City from the roof top. Perfect place to spend some time when the wheater outside is cold/rainy. We payed around 35€ for...More

I have never been inside an aquarium that was on multiple levels like this one. Whoever came up with the idea of making this building into an aquarium was brilliant. Thankful they had an elevator. Nice assortment of marine life to see. Each level was...More

Wonderful activity of a closed type, incredibly many animals, fish and plants. The possibility to go through their places of residence while the animals are walking freely is indescribable.

An aquarium set in an old air raid tower. Possibly one of the ugliest buildings we saw in Vienna from the outside, but surprising inside. Set over 11 levels there are lots of stairs. There is a lift if you need it. Each level is...More

Great experience and did it more than once! Too bad too many kids, can be noisy, but after all it is family friendly!

It's really great place. Many sort of fish, snakes, see horses. If you don't want to cue and want to have some "privacy" I suggest you come early in the morning. One of the rear attractions in Vienna that opens at 9AM. Having so many...More

Outside the centre in an old building, looking bit abandoned. Needs to climb a lot of stairs because one elevator cannot do the work for all. Go only for the children if you don't have other ideas. Keep in mind you may have to wait...More

Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping
heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The
weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium
Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six
remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with
a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna
and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the
area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with

No, there are no dogs allowed! They have free running monkeys and birds, that´s the reason why!
