Spent a whole day touring the city with city bikes - reasonable price, bikes were fine (chain fell once, probably because of me - too aggressive on the gear shift), lovely city for a bike tour when it's not raining. Don't forget warm clothe and pay attention not to enter some streets in the old center. Enjoy, Nir

We were beyond excited to book the wine & bike tour. We are relatively fit and in our 20's but not very experienced on bikes. This tour was miserable! The terrain up and down hills, over cobblestone streets and it was such a long distance. I feel like the distance could be cut in half and perhaps be a better... More

I booked this tour for my wife and myself as part of her 50th birthday celebrations. The day started when we were met by Dimos our guide and driver for the day. we were joined by another 2 couples who we got on with instantly. the Mercedes people carrier was very clean spacious and comfortable with the 6 of us... We had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Stelios, was fantastic. He spoke excellent neutral accented English and was a pleasure to talk to throughout the tour. He provided a great overview of the area and went out of his way to provide a lot of information, especially about the local wines. The Melk Abbey was very impressive... More

I found myself in Vienna and booked a last minute wine tasting tour of the Wachau valley. I was solo and joined by 2 other couples. Our guide Stylianos was the star of the trip. It was like a guided history tour of the local history as well as the wine valley. Stylianos was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and... More

It was okay and a nice way to get an introduction to the city. They tell you of the history of Vienna and Austria and you get to see some of the main sites. However, safety does not seem to be a priority and our guide wasn't looking out for the group like I think she could have done. Vienna... More

A fantastic and unforgettable tour full of history, beautiful scenery and excellent wines! A great day out visiting Austria's wonderful Wachau Valley, Our guide was Stylianos and his knowledge of wines and the region really enhanced our experience. We learned so much about the local wines and how to appreciate from our fun and welcoming guide. If you love sightseeing,... More

Earlier this month I took part in the small group (8 person) wine tasting excursion to the Wachau Valley with a side trip to Melk Abbey and an hour's visit to the medieval village of Durnstein. It was thoroughly enjoyable. We stopped at 3 wineries (and tasted 11 varieties of locally produced wine) as well as at a local Heuriger... More

We had a wonderful experience with Doris our tourguide from Vienna to Budapest! She was very knowledgable and encouraged questions. She kept us informed as to what to expect with the entire day ahead of time~no surprises! Our local walking guide, Judy was also excellent!

The bicycle ride through the Austrian Countryside was an unforgettable experience for our family. We stopped at 4 wineries as we rode through lush vineyards and quaint little towns. The group in total was about 18 of us and everyone had a fantastic time. Our guide was great fun and informative and didn't push the group too hard to keep... More

Thankyou! We think the same! Vienna is a beautiful city, but to escape the city and experience the real countryside is definitely the way to go! The Wachau is undeniably a highlight in Austria. More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
