We took a trip to explore Innsbruck's ski jump. Via the mountain elevator we get to the base of the tower and then with an internal elevator to the top. Great view over the city. Quite an experience to see from what height ski jumpers slide down.

An interesting place to go especially if you are a fan of the winter Olympics. There is a gift shop at the entrance level and a lift to take you up to the ski jump to take in the view of the surrounding area.

Walked a long way from town to be met by a €10 charge up a funicular. Some of the misleDing tourist information describes the way up via a 'lift' and doesn't mention a charge. Up close it looks a bit shoddy.

Nice options to go to top of ski jump to enjoy the views and restaurant at the top. Stairs all the way to the top or take the funicular. Go early and you might see a ski jumper practicing as we were fortunate to see.

It us honestly must-see when you are in Innsbruck. An astonishing, spectacular view over the city and mountains. A great selfie spot ;)

The Bergisel jump is visible from many parts of Innsbruck, but it's when you get up there that you really realize how amazing this sport is. It's a fun visit and actually worth the trip there. Good views and, if you go at the right time, you might even see some practice runs.

This is on a hill and can be accessed by a cable in Innsbruck, Austria and the most popular annual ski jumping competition is conducted here and this well built ski jumping track is even visible from the highway nearby. Jumpers doing ski jumping is quiet a sight, the rythum and the speed of their movement along the track is a joy.

This is a stadium for ski jumping on a hill in innsbruck, Austria where prestigious annual FIS Ski jumping world cup Four hills Tournament conducted. The view of people skiing and the surrounding valley from the top is worth the climb. This has funicular, a viewing platform for a panoramic view of the valley.

High over Innsbruck towers the Bergisel Ski Jump Tower with its top restaurant. The views overlooking the town are absolutely stunning and it helps to have the needs of food and drink looked after by very pleasant staff. Fortunately there is a lift (and stairs) so we didn‘t have to ski down and jump

Beautiful jump. We wanted to go for breakfast and see the early morning jumpers, but time ran out for us. We did visit but did not have breakfast or see any jumpers. Others in our group did. We thought we needed a reservation for breakfast according to brochures/internet - but apparently you don't. We did catch a late lunch at the restaurant at the bottom. Also - we would have gone by public transit - very easy. We just couldn't find out how to do it so we paid for the tour bus. Still a good value because we got to see the areas around.
