Another beautiful building in Innsbruck

Another beautiful building just before the Town Square. Great view of the town. Part of a marvellous stroll we did in a straight line from the Triumphpforte to the Golden Roof.

Located in the heart of the old town, the winding iron staircase takes a bit of climbing to get to the top. Fortunately they have separate up and down stairs as it is quite narrow. The view from the top is worth the effort, looking directly down on to the golden roof and panoramic views across the old town, the... More

Closed at 5 so i had to make it quick. Spiral staircases, separate for up and down which I think safer. Good views. Included Innsbruck Card.

The tower offers a great birds eye view of the city and a look at the mountains. I would suggest waiting until the afternoon to do this, so you can give the morning clouds a chance to clear and get a better view of city and mountains.

There is few things to see in Innsbruck, but this tower has a great view over the mountains around the city. However, the stairs are quite dangerous, because there is no light during all the 149 steps! That's unacceptable... The ticket will cost around 4€. If you want to use the toilets you need to pay 0,5€, unless you have... More

A good place for a little exercise to keep you fit. You get a fairly good view of the town and mountains at the top, especially of the Gold Roof museum..

Very interesting experience. Many steps to climb with fascinating double winding staircase. Very tight at the top and only one person able to stand so the people move around the tower slowly so you can see all of surrounding Innsbruck.
