Seemingly simple but very beautiful monument. Tall like the mountains in the far perspective. Strolling through the old city you will see it. In a sense it is a war memorial expressing gratitute for Bavarian troops leaving the Tyrol.

Not sure what else I can add to what the others said already. It’s very tall and seems like a very popular meeting spot. You definitely gonna pass by it as it’s on one of the main streets of Innsbruck. Lovely!

Seems to be a central gathering point and where lots of people sit to people watch and enjoy the sunshine. Nice carvings and interesting figures.

Many tourists stop here to take a photo. Perhaps if you know the history of this column it may have meaning to you, but otherwise it is a column to admire, take in the view and continue your stroll through the old town. The views are definitely the greatest attraction in Innsbruck and make a stunning backdrop to the vintage architecture of the old town.

Nothing special about the column but hard to miss as it is right in the middle of the town. Managed to get some stunning day and night shots with mountains in the background. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

It is set in a nice, wide, car free part of the old center so it does stand out.
However looking at it closely it doesn't impress... no special sculptures on it just the color of the column itself is the only special feature... apart from that it is one like so many others...
Not a must see, but one you will see due to it's location.

With the surrounding buildings and backdrop of the mountains, this is a must-see that is free! All of the cute shops around St. Anna’s column are nice to find trinkets to remember your visit if the beautiful backdrop is not enough. I loved all the outdoor cafes and overall pride in the city.

This historical column (made by the Italian sculptor Cristoforo Benefetti) is nice to see because it's situated in the middle of Maria-Theresien Straße. No more, no less.

The column's name is derived from the day on which it was dedicated -- on St. Ann’s Day, in July 1703.
