This gives visitors a taste of the many alpine walking trails available in Austria without having to travel too far afield. The ride up in the cable car is quite amazing.

A lovely trip up by cable car, and then a climb to the summit. Though we did not go up to the summit, it was a lovely walk upwards. On the way there is a natural spring. Do not forget to look for it and...More

We are often walking on this smaller mountain. 20 minutes walk up to a very nice gasthof or take the lift to the top. From there you can walk to 3 huts in a nice day. Great views and nature.

Spent a super few hours at the top of the Patscherkofel, at the Schutzhaus sun terrace restaurant. Able to sit in the sun, drinking Glühwein and eating local food, well cooked and plenty of it, while watching the ski and snowboard action. Not at all...More
