The nordkettenbahn is actually two cable cars, one runs from base to Seegrube at1900m and one runs from 1900m to Hafelekar at 2269m. A change of car is a must to reach to the top, but it is possible to by a ticket for both...More

Stunning view. Good deal if you are buying Innsbruck card. However, please check closing times! Top 2 finish at 5 and 5:30 respectively, a little ridiculous for summer peak travel season if you ask me. We turned up at the middle station having paid $$...More

We paid 33euros per pax to get right up to the top. It's absolutely worth it. We got a few different views of the city and got to walk up to different points.

We live in Switzerland and compared to many swiss cable cars this way nothing very special. It goes right from Central innsbruck which is good for convenience but bad for the masses of people you get on a summer weekday. The top is pretty overcrowded...More

Great views and nice little restaurant for a quick stop for a beer. The cable car tickets are expensive though.
