We attended a concert. The venue is easy to find and the concert hall is beautiful. The catering facilities were very good.
The only reasons for this review not being 5* was the temperature in the hall which was very warm and the wooden seating which became a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so. Could the seats be cushioned?

... go to the Mozarteum and sit in on the frequent student recitals. Just go to the modern, main building behind the Hotel Bristol and see what events are posted onthe kiosks in the lobby. You'll be treated to young talent strutting their stuff...free, and in studios with stadiums seating that seat about 100 (like lecture halls). I have little doubt that they appreciated having an audience, which we were happy to provide. Enjoyable all around.

We attended two concerts here as part of the Salzburg Festival
Both were wonderful
The hall is good but it is the atmosphere, everyone dressed up even for the matinee and the quality of the performers is fantastic
We loved our visits to this famous concert hall

Was lucky enough to be able to get tickets to a sold out show (there is a ticket office nearby where you can buy tickets that are turned back in) during Mozart Week. The show by the local symphony orchestra was amazing (the conductor played piano for some pieces) and the setting was remarkable. You must check coats if there in the cold months. The interior of the hall is exquisite.

The acoustics here are wonderful and the venue not too big. Attend a concert here if you can. You wont be disappointed.

Learn all about this genius who died at an early age and was not really acknowledged until after his death.

The Mozarteum is an excellent address for music lovers, especially during the summer festival, when the Mozart Matinées and other concerts are offered in a beautiful setting. Many times, and for many years, I enjoyed listening to beautiful music in an extremely elegant concert hall.

Given the opportunity to attend a concert in the Stiftung Mozarteum be sure to do so. This was the opulent setting for the Mozart-Matinee concert we attended while in Salzburg. The Salzburg Bachchoir was conducted by Adam Fischer.

Maybe I was disappointed because i expected more. One violin, one piano, one computer when you can match Mozart pictures with the time you think they were taken, and that is it. I should have checked on TripAdvisor about this one. It is not worth it.

Hi, is this a museum or concert hall only? What is there for tourists to see or do?

Is this actually a museum or a concert hall? What can tourists see?

We will be in Salzburg on July 8 afternoon, and again July 12 afternoon. I would highly appreciate if someone can help me understand the following:
1. When (what hour) do student performances in Mozartium usually take place? Any time every day, like Wednesday and Sunday, etc?
2. Can people walk in, in the middle of student performances?
3. What are the performances in Mozartium that cost 30 or 40 Euros?
Thank you so much for your help.
