One of the best museums in Linz

Young and old will enjoy in this excellent museum where IT meets art. Both local people and visitors from abroad will be very satisfied visiting this modern museum.

It is a very good attraction for those who love learning about the latest technology or inventions. I would recommend you to check out the planetarium room.

When you first enter the center as an English speaker its not so easy to get the full benefit of the place. However once you ask the staff they are all more than happy to explain everything, there are many things to do and great to keep children occupied. Also make sure you see the deep space film which is... More

This was by far my favorite attraction in Linz. If you like interactive high tech museums, this is for you. From the 8K 3-D video shows to the hands on labs, I was fascinated. My tip: Take a break and enjoy a drink or something to eat at the Cubus Cafe on the third floor. There are some great views... More

This is not a museum, it is more like a place for science to be experimented. The 8K cinema is the best I've ever visited.

Waste of time if English speaking (more to the point non German speaking). Most exhibits have a small English title but little else, in their version of high tech there are no audio guide or the like. Strange as my iPad has an app that can live translate into any major language with slight delay. But then I would need... More

This is a trip everyone should make. We thought we can speed run the exhibitions in two hours but it really took us 3 h to go through it. The level of interaction between you and exponates is insane. You can learn a lot of new, forgotten and generally interesting informatin about the World, Technology, Internet and Ars Electronica did... More

This museum is very interesting and educational concerning science & electronics. The staff are all friendly, speak English well & willing to help. Enjoyed seeing some of the robots, the large screen movie show(however was disappointed because that day(Tuesday was supposed to be an English show, & when we got there she said they had to change it to a... If there is ONE museum you want to see in Linz and within that ONE ,useum, you one want to see ONE thing and then move on ... visit Ars Electornica and there to 3D 8K Installation. You will NOT be disappointed. If you got more time on your hand or are interested in other things on the border of... More

The building looks fabulous in the evening when looking across the bridge from the main square. Even entering it, there's an expectation of something great. We started at the the top and we're initially disappointed until we got to the display right at the bottom, where a lovely guide took the opportunity to show us what you could do with... More
