The building itself is breathtaking. The aquarium is great and the museum proper is breathtaking. It is one of the places that should be on your bucket list. The views from the roof is mind blowing. Just do it.

Small but still a really nice place to visit. The kids will love it. All types of marine life that are well organised. Also the views from the top are nice. Not the biggest but still fun. I would recommend it if you have a few hours and love the oceans.

Unique collection of both large and small fishes. Fishes of size of ants can also be seen here. The museum inside the building is average and not a much of attraction though. The building facade is beautiful and sea view to the back side of the building is picturesque. They offer free wifi inside!

I had a ticket for the prince castle and the aquarium and this was definitely the highlight of Monaco for us. There were loads of sea creatures to see and my mum loved it - so many photo opportunities. (Finding nemo references) there were loads of nemos and I did spot a dory :) There was a turtle as well... Great place. Ticket price is about ok. The tanks are great but the view from the top floor is AMAZING, you can exmplore the whole Monaco and take some great photos. There is also a chance to touch the baby sharks. If they would provide a fish tank tunnel it would get my excellent rating.

What a stunning place, fantastic building, really well presented collection. A good guide giving a fascinating insight into the exhibits and the history on the aquarium. This is a "must see" on a visit to Monte Carlo.

On a recent visit to Nice we decided to revisit this wonderful building. The layout is well thought out, and the display tanks are amazing. I particularly liked the jellyfish, these had different lighting combinations which were brilliant. The upper floors and the artifacts are well worth looking at. On the roof top the restaurant/cafes were delightfully set out. The... More

Actually you are right we are not as big as Atlanta, SF or even Okinawa. We are simply a centenary place, pioneer of modern oceanography and a museum. dedicated to the oceans. Sorry More

This is fascinating place and far more comprehensive than the outside suggests. The actual aquarium is excellent with the Shark tank being very impressive. But there were so many other things to see, the large tubular tank full of jellyfish was fascinating, as was the smaller tank with jellyfish but with lights changing, to create a hypnotic effect. The historical... More
