Arrived Monaco by a short train ride from Nice. We decided to walk uphill till we reached the casino. There's also a bus service if you do not wish to walk. Once inside the casino, there's a photo area with the casino words as the...More

I've never been to a casino that charged an entry fee and if you an energy when you walked in it will be sapped out of you within minutes. Very lovely place to visit but if you're there to gamble and have a good time...More

For those of us in US, that will be quite unusual, that you can not go inside the casino unless you pay a fee. But if you do not want to gamble, the lobby of the casino is also beautiful.

Monte Carlo Casino is world famous so is certainly worth the effort of getting inside. Please wear appropriate attire - smart casual is a minimum with proper shoes etc. and bring ID. The cost of entrance, about 17 euro per person is deducted from any...More

If you're in Monaco, you should at least just stop in and walk through the lobby. There is nothing amazing about this place, but at least you can say you went. Also, if you're into cars, there is always a really expensive out in the...More

When visitors think of Monte Carlo, their first thought is to visit the famous casino. They have recently increased the fees just to enter the casino, so very few of our tour members opted to enter. Instead, we walked outside all sides of the building...More

Whilst visiting Monte Carlo you cannot miss the famous casino, don't go just to look and pay the entrance fee, go and have a fabulous lunch in the casino side room and then the fee is refunded if you spend 30€ per person, not much...More

The Casino is very beautiful! There were a lot of tourists outside taking photos! There were cars driving past the road constantly, so it's a bit awkward taking good photos! I don't know if the fences are always there. However, it's a nice place to...More

Unfortunately this place is nothing you hope to visit as you think you know it from the movies. No atmosphere, no style no glimmer, it's finally a place for gamblers only.

Stop by and check this staple place out. The parking in front has dome of the most luxurious cars in one place. Make sure you are dressed appropriately or they won't let you in! At night you have a feeling of beeing in a james...More

We will be cruising to Cannes, on Friday, May 26, and would like to take the train to Monaco in hopes of visiting the Monte-Carlo Casino. I believe Grand Prix events will be taking place that day. We will need to be back on the ship no later than 5:30 PM. Can anyone tell me if the casino will be open on Friday, May 26th, and will it be worth our while (with everyone coming for the race) to come into Monaco at all? Thanks, Kim

I see that the Casino de Monte-Carlo is open for tours in the morning. However, do they provide guided tours, or is it just entry and we browse on our own? Thanks.
