One of the highlights of a visit to Monaco. The architecture is quite interesting and beautiful with its contrast on a neoclassical exterior and a baroque interior. Inside are the tombs of the Grimaldi monarchs.

it feels a bit like Disney world... the cathedral is just a little too perfect. For Monaco standards it is fairly old and grand but for real world standards it is small and rather a let-down. Go to Nice or anywhere in the Provence area and you will find much more interesting buildings. Obviously if you are a royalty afficionado...... More

Saint Nicholas Cathedral is one of my favourite places in Monaco. Everyone must enter in it and see it's beautiful.

AKA Cathédrale Notre-Dame-Immaculée; this is the place where many of the Grimaldis were buried including Grace Kelly and Rainier III.

An absolutely wonderful looking church. Very peaceful and serene compared to the glamour and bustle of Monaco. A must visit. Epic interior

The cathedral in Monaco is a must-see for any tourist in the area - it's only a few steps away from the Palace, so there's no excuse not to go there! Apart from the amazing architecture that will please the art lover, there is also the added "attraction" of the royal tombs (most notably the one of Grace Kelly). P.S.... More

A tour took us here and we really enjoyed it. Grace Kelly is buried here along with other members of the Grimaldis. It is beautiful and you should visit if in the area.

What struck me most about this cathedral is the architecture. Such wonderful detail work, all done in an age where the tools pale in comparison to today. The stone work, wood work and painting are all beautiful. That beauty coupled with the history make the cathedral well worth your time.

Very impressive building. The tombs of the Princes are very simple. The Tomb of Princess Grace is the one most visitors want to see, there was a queue forming as people stopped to pay their respects. The picture of her wedding was very poignant, at the head of the tomb.
