Nothing in Monaco is really worth seeing but if you made it all the way to the hill where the palace is, walk around towards the ocean side and find the cathedral. This building is nice and worth seeing from outside unless you want to...More

This beautiful Cathedral is just a short walk from the Prince’s Palace. This present day Cathedral was constructed in 1875-1903 and consecrated in 1911. Many of the Grimaldi dynasty are entombed within the church to include Princess Grace and more recently Prince Rainier III. Princess...More

The cathedral is free to enter and historically interesting. Our visit did not require a lot of time and we enjoyed the serenity and beautiful icons.

A lovely cathedral to see but not so much foo foo to be seen. Yet, here is where Grace Kelly was entombed. Why would you miss that?

Impressive architecture with very pretty stained glass and painted ceiling. Pity there are some construction work inside the church which is causing some noise and disrupt the peace inside.

I visited this cathedral on a stop on a tour of the French Riviera. It is beautiful and looks out on the sea. Being from the Philadelphia area, I had always wanted to visit Monaco, the home of Princess Grace. The cathedral contains the graves...More
