Most of the reviews for this site are for the skiing. We actually came in August on a walking holiday. This is an excellent area to walk in. It is definitely considering coming in the summer.

I took the cable car from Encamp and the 20 minute trip is beautiful. On the top you get a beautiful view and the food prices are fair. Although I don't ski it looked like a great place to do it.

We go every year end of Jan or Feb and the roads are always kept pretty clear as it's so busy.
