Very nice to visit, unspoiled area, protected beach for turtles. Can take a car (preferably 4x4) or can rent atv quad bikes to enjoy the scenery and the dust... Be aware of the sea, the waves can be aggressive to children.

always missed the baby turtle but love the quietness (you cant get there by car) so we run/walk from the start of the akamas peninsula (3 miles)

Worth parking the car up 200m after the end of the tarmac road, there is a car park. From there you can visit the gorge or walk to the station. It is an hours walk along a rough road but the scenery is great and it is deserted. Just before you get to the station there is a cafe on... More

Lara Baby is truly an unbroken spot where the sea is crystal clear the sand is white and there is no commercial life. It is best reached whilst quad biking or on an organized trip although I understand some find it easier than others alone. It is worth the trek whatever way you reach there. It is a little steep... We found the road driving to the beach quite rough and difficult to drive (due to rain). Would recommend anyone going to take a 4x4 in the winter or go in summer when the turtles are nesting. The beach is nice - very rugged and remote.

went a the wrong time of the year to see any turtles this time but have visited many years ago and seen the amazing work they do here. Have seen the young turtles when they hatch.

On doing an excursion we went hete as part of it . We were bery surprised by what tye guide told us yhat the besch is protected during nesting time but also thst the turtles biggest threat the foxes were also protected really strange but very educational

nice to see they are caring for the turtles nests, and its a lovely beach to go to .you'll deffo need to drive something thats off road tho to get there

Only had a short time here but very pretty. Cafe was nice and beach lovely and quiet. Beach was clean.
