Whilst staying at Coral Bay my friend and I went by the local bus to Agios Georgios which takes approx. 30 minutes. We visited the modern church there and then walked around the small local area. We noticed a small "shack" with a Museum sign over the door, half expecting it to be a local "gift" shop we wandered in... More

Pretty location, ruins and mosaics worth a walk round. Good value at €2.50 entry. Some large lizards and pheasant like birds a bonus.

Ignore the comments about being remote or there not being lots to see if you are interested in getting right up close to historical ruins without the crowds. The cheap entrance fee (€2.50) and friendly guard are enough to make this site worth the visit as you can clamber in and around the ruins which include several religious buildings; an... More

The church is pretty but otherwise not worth visiting. There is little else to see here - in fact several restaurants just seemed to have been abandoned. The harbour is dirty and unattractive.

What is interesting about this site is the condition of the exhibits. They were exposed during excavations started in 1952 and have remained exposed since those days. The mosaics are in very good condition considering. It is a worthwhile visit followed by visiting St Georges chapel. It is also possible to visit the graves on the cliffs just a few... More

We had our Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony at Agios Georgios and it was an incredibly beautiful location with plenty of opportunities for fantastic wedding photos with a stunning background. The church held our 30 guests perfectly.

At €2.50 it's cheap enough for a quick stop, we like this sort of thing so enjoyed or walk around. The little guide map was not much use to be honest. We liked the mosaic floors and the access ability of the place, the views were lovely but if ruins are not your thing then I would give it a... More

If you go to visit Agios Georgios and see the church and harbour then by all means pay a quick visit to see the ruins here. It only costs €2.50 to enter. We were the only ones here at the time and had the site to ourselves which always feels special. There's really not too I have to see apart... More

we took a buggy safari here and what we found amazed even us we stopped in a hugh car-park had a ice cream and got to explore for about 20 mins. In the car-park there is a small quaint church which i went in to Explore and light a candle. The wood carving in there was amazing the pictures you... More
