Went at night, dark and a bit smelly - never mind - this is real history with Crusader graffiti on the walls and an atmosphere you can touch. A must-see in Paphos.

The entrance to the catacomb is marked by a collection of rags tied to a large tree outside the tomb. It is a dark place so i do advise a flashlight at the lower section at the base of a set of steep stairs entering...More

Enjoyed the wishes tied to the trees but was a little confused when trying to locate and if we were allowed in! Little dark inside so couldn’t see much and didn’t want to disrespect local culture.

People tied ribbons, many with wishes, to the trees around it. You could see it from far away. Plus it is on the side of the main road with an easy access

Not an easy place to navigate. No parking and no official entrance but free, and worth the short visit.

Glad we went, steep, uneven steps tho, so be careful !! we found our way to the rear of the amphitheatre by going thro the caves. Bit disappointed by the lack of information about the history.

We saw this after walking back from Kings Mall and saw a tree with rags with messages written on them and it wasn't until we did the Mosaics from the house of Aion museum, we went back and realized this was St Solomon's Catacombs. We...More

It is FREE, it,s just on the road from harbour to kings mall. Not staffed & tricky stair way ( be careful in the wet ) just ruins, amphitheatre on high ground. EXPLORE--- scattered .

Thank you. We did find them last year. Also a large area being newly excavated behind some houses. Looking forward to seeing how they have got on when we return in October.
