Glad we went, steep, uneven steps tho, so be careful !! we found our way to the rear of the amphitheatre by going thro the caves. Bit disappointed by the lack of information about the history.

Don’t be fooled by the small rooms by the tree. Continue up the road and check out all the caves and rooms further up. Feel free to explore. Some great places to explore.

Well worth a visit but mind your head and feet, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues but fine if you take your time.

We almost walked by this as there is some type of road work going on but glad we visited. There are cave type holes everywhere and a staircase leads you out to the highest level with spectacular views and a wonderful mosaic.

When you see the colourful hankies & ribbons tied to the tree , get off the bus or stop walking & discover a bit of history for free . It may be quickly visited as the catacombs are small , but well worth the stop...More

Came across the St Solomon's Catacombs by chance, well worth the visit. Remember to tie a piece of material to the tree to help with any ailments.

It is FREE, it,s just on the road from harbour to kings mall. Not staffed & tricky stair way ( be careful in the wet ) just ruins, amphitheatre on high ground. EXPLORE--- scattered .

Thank you. We did find them last year. Also a large area being newly excavated behind some houses. Looking forward to seeing how they have got on when we return in October.
