St. Solomon's catacombs is the place where the christian went to hide and pray away from the non believers. Definitely a must-see place in Paphos.

Entry to this place would be banned if it was in Britain! Health and Safety nightmare!! Didn't go to far down, felt freaked out, very eerie, but if that's your thing, go for it!!

I personally love to discover tombs and catacombs so this was a nice place for me to visit. Some people think are just rocks, but when you know the history behind it then you take it seriously

The Agia Solomoni catacomb is a small but fascinating glimpse of history and belief. If you wish for something you hang a handkerchief or similar on the tree or the gateway. It's not recorded if wishes come true! It's worth a visit if you are...More

Location is free to enter and can only take a few minutes to see. There are locked gates blocking entry to 2 catacomb locations inside, but these gates, as with the main tree at street level, have socks and material tied to the gates which...More

Thank you. We did find them last year. Also a large area being newly excavated behind some houses. Looking forward to seeing how they have got on when we return in October.
