H4C provides a shared space for inter communal cooperation and dialogue. Hosting a library and cafe. H4C is the first center in Cyprus to promote the collective efforts of civil society in engaging in historical inquiry, contemporary understanding and peace building. As a landmark building located within the Ledra Palace crossing, the H4C aims to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding.

I can't think of another place on the planet where you can have coffee or a bite to eat, watch a band, dance, meet friends, attend a conference, research, read a book etc etc in a Buffer Zone (Dead Zone)... It is safe, comfortable, unique...More

Its hidden location in-between borders makes it something waiting to be discovered. The thing to appreciate is the amazing effort of people at this place transforming this zone with full of sad stories into a peaceful environment. amust-see place for the ones who visit Nicosia....More
