Beautiful place and glad to see careful reconstruction going on outside. Possibly the best looking church in the city.

The Greek Orthodox church of Archangel Michael Tripiotis within the walls of Nicosia, is one of the most beautiful churches on our island. It was built in 1695. It is a special example of architecture, made with smoothed stone, has three naves and a dome that almost has the aspect of a square. The rich interior is decorated with an... More

The outside of the church is bring worked an and indeed much of Nicosia is under construction, This is a pretty church internally although the modern fixtures do impact the visitors view. ~You need to look past that to appreciate the place. As a tourist I was made to feel uncomfortable which impacted the experience - but I was visiting... More

Its architecture is not very impressive from the outside; however it has a beautiful and unique Bells Tower and it is extremely beautiful from the inside. Although it is not allowed to photograph inside the Church, but there was a very nice multilingual... More

Worth visiting because inside it is not the typical way a Christian Orthodox Church is. The seating area is more like a theater's arrangement, very interesting and different. Beautiful small church, very peaceful.

Beautiful church located just off the pedestrian area of Ledra in downtown Nicosia. Well worth getting side tracked to go and see.

This was one of a number of Byzantine churches we visited. It was so beautiful and peaceful and well worth the stop. Keep an eye out for the signs in the village as it can be easily missed.
